Christmas Book Ideas: Humour

It’s the third day of Christmas books, where I make book suggestions to try and help you navigate your way through the masses of books out there to add to your own Christmas present list or to get ideas to buy for others. Today, we have… Humour, in its various forms.

There are a number of books that have come out recently from famous comedians. These range from David Mitchell's book, which is made up of various columns he wrote for the Observer with various extra bits inserted in between, to Stephen Fry to Miranda Hart - this latest book from her is based around scripts from her TV series – or if you’re a fan of Richard Ayoade then his latest book is likely to be ideal.

If you like your humour from across the Atlantic, then Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham might hit the spot, or Mindy Kaling might be able to offer you some advice if you are concerned about anything from dating to planning your funeral.

If you like your humour in cartoon form, then you might like to check whether Your Cat is Plotting to Kill You or you could go more old school and read some Dilbert.

What books make you laugh? Let me know!

Here are links to all of the books above, plus a few more suggestions:
